Type a question or a substance name, in English or Bahasa Malaysia. Each answer shows the Act’s own wording, taken from the Acts and regulations in the library. No AI service is called and nothing leaves your device.
Currency. The Poisons Act text and penalties here follow the version incorporating the Poisons (Amendment) Act 2025 (Act A1774). The Dangerous Drugs Act text does not yet include the 2023 sentencing reforms (Act 846), so no current drug-trafficking sentence is quoted. A working reference, not legal advice.
Paste the items from a seizure list (senarai bongkar), one per line. Brand names, ingredients and product descriptions all work, for example “Viagra 100mg x 4 strips”. Each line is checked against the Poisons List, its class entries and the brand list.
Brand and class matches are my classification, not wording from the List. Confirm each item against its label, the NPRA product search (QUEST3+) and the official Poisons List before relying on it in a charge.
Offences in the library with their penalty, whether they can be compounded, and whether the Public Prosecutor’s written sanction is needed. Set the offence date to see the penalty that applied on that day. The Poisons (Amendment) Act 2022 raised most Poisons Act penalties from 1 January 2023, and Article 7(1) of the Federal Constitution bars a heavier punishment than the one in force when the offence was committed.
Penalties follow the texts in this library: the Poisons Act incorporating the 2025 amendment, the Sale of Drugs Act and CDCR, MASA (copy to 1990) and the Dangerous Drugs Act (copy to 2021). Confirm against the latest reprint before charging.
Pick an event and its date to see the time limits that run from it.
Periods are counted excluding the day of the event, the usual rule under the Interpretation Acts 1948 and 1967 (s 54). Check how a period ending on a weekend or public holiday is treated, and confirm against the provision before relying on a date.
Paste the text of a listing or post (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp). The screener highlights claims that may breach the Medicines (Advertisement and Sale) Act, names poisons, class drugs and brands it recognises, and pulls out MAL, NOT and KKLIU numbers to check.
Keyword matches are a first screen, not a finding. Read each flagged phrase in context: a word like “jantung” or “heart” can appear innocently.
